Raindrops on the bedroom window following the late storms.

Home

The part of my daily walk from the train I never photograph. The clouds and haze gave this a nice tint.

Rain Delay II

Dan called with an extra ticket to tonight's Cubs game. Arriving home from O'Hare in time to see the third inning. Checking weather (foreground) as the rain descends on Wrigley (background). Needless to say, I didn't go to the game, which was postponed by rain.

Rain Delay I

At O'Hare, waiting out a rain delay with Chose. Her flight left over three hours late. Here is the outer terminal after everyone has checked in to their gates.

The Party's Over

I discovered a multi-shot feature on the camera phone. It takes five photos consecutively after a short delay. This is after we had a few friends over, but before the cleanup. 180 degrees of dirty dishes and refrigerator.

Self Timed House

Walking to the train this morning, I realized I photograph my downtown walk regularly, but never my morning walk. This is a small subdivision of homes I usually walk through. Timer set to 10 seconds.

Self Timer

These photos were taken putting the camera on a 10-second self timer. I walked along with the camera in my hand with no idea when the image is taken.

Drawing Blinds

Home late, and time to draw the blinds. Grabbing the camera and the drawstring at the same time.

Bensenville Sunset

Photographed the ghost town of Bensenville today. Many blocks are vacant. Houses are boarded up and prepared for imminent demolition to make room for more O'Hare runways. What struck me was the empty road and playground, which on most summer nights, in most neighborhoods, should be crowded.
