End of Preservation

End of Preservation

Another image from last fall. In respect to the hard work of the
Gropius Coalition who ceased preservation efforts this past week. The
only remaining Gropius buildings are the Sullivan and Linear
Accelerator buildings.

About The Daily Lomograph

The Daily Lomograph was born from the immediacy of digital photography. In 2007, my cell phone camera's resolution was less than 2 mpx. This produced imperfect images susceptible to low light, motion, and aberrations. As cell phone camera technology has improved drastically, The Daily Lomograph continues to find inspiration in the Lomography motto, 'don't think, just shoot.'

The 10 Rules of (digital?) Lomography

Adapted to include any camera, digital or analog:
  1. Take your camera everywhere you go and whenever you go.
  2. Use it any time - day or night.
  3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
  4. Shoot from the hip.
  5. Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
  6. Don't think.
  7. Be fast.
  8. You don't have to know beforehand what you've captured on camera.
  9. You don't have to know afterwards, either.
  10. Don't worry about the rules.
